IHDA’s Director of Multifamily Financing, Christine Moran, joins the groundbreaking ceremony for Zion Woods in Deerfield, IL. With nearly $8 million in IHDA funding and $4.5 million in Authority bond financing, this project will provide 25 units of permanent supportive and affordable housing. This project is made possible with the support of various organizations. In addition to beautiful amenities like a playground and community gardens, families will receive personalized support services including case management, skills training, health services, counseling, childcare, transportation, advocacy & more. Last week, our Executive Director joined the Ribbon cutting at Pearl Place Apartments, a beautiful renovated senior housing complex with a rich history. This project showcases the importance of preserving historic buildings while providing affordable housing for seniors.
